Ladies – are you interested in being crowned 2018 Needville Harvest Fest Queen? It is a wonderful way to give back to your community and win a $1000 scholarship. See Mrs. Moran for an application. Deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 19th.

Cheerleaders are selling Needville Strong Breast Cancer shirts that will worn Oct 26th Spirit day!! The forms are available in the front office, upstairs Mrs. White D201 or Mrs. Zbranek in the senior hallway A105.

Attention students working on Service Cord, all hours from May 1st to the start of school are due TODAY, September 17th at 4pm.  They may be turned into the Service Cord basket outside the upstairs principals’ office.

Juniors and Seniors: Are you interested in earning a little bit of extra cash?  We are looking for students interested in tutoring.  Students to be tutored could be from Kindergarten through 12th grade and in any or all subject areas.  We are always in need of tutors for math and Spanish especially.  Please sign up in the counselor’s office by Wednesday, September 19th.     

Our first blood drive of the year was changed to September 18.  You can pick up a form in the nurse’s office.    Forms are due by September 17.  Seniors – donate 2 times this year to earn your red cord for graduation.  See Mrs. Moran for more information.

FFA members who attended the Shooting Team orientation on Tuesday the required paperwork is due back to Mr. H by Tuesday the 18th. If you missed the meeting see him in Room H102 before you leave campus TODAY.

FCCLA will have their first meeting after school on Tuesday September 18 in the LGI. All new and returning members should attend.

Teachers please remember to post your progress report grades before you leave today.

Need service hours? Need exercise? Need a t-shirt? Come to the Needville Harvest Festival Fun Run at the Elementary school on October 20 at 7:30 AM to run, walk or skip your way towards helping raise money for local scholarships. See Kohleffel in A102 for more details or for a sign-up sheet.

The Lady Jays are 2-0 in district plays after defeating Sealy Friday night.  Leaders for the match were:  Madison Schultz 13 kills and Anna Gadway 10: Evan Stavinoha, Meghan Cernosek, and Baley Stavinoha also did a great job of putting the ball away. Anna Gadway 23 assists and Rockie Thielemann 7. Maddy Hrncir 3 aces and Samantha Dostal/Madison Schultz had 2. Tori Eavenson had 16 digs and Samantha Dostal/Anna Gadway both had 9. Anna Gadway 3 blocks and Madison Schultz 2. We play again at home TONIGHT at 7:00pm against El Campo.  We need another Brick Squad!  Where are you?
